I’ve finally managed to put up a post. I’ve had a whole bunch of half finished ones sitting in my drafts box for about a month now. I’ve got a few recipes and a couple of reviews to finish. 🙂 So much to do, so little time.
Anyways, these bliss balls taste exactly like key lime pie!!!!! So good as a snack or as a 3pm pick me up!! Heres the recipe 🙂
¾ cup almonds
½ cup pitted dates
Zest and juice of 1 lime
1 tbsp Mayvers peanut and coconut spread
1 tbsp coconut butter/oil
¼ cup pistachios
¼ cup shredded coconut
1 tbsp chia seeds
Blend the almonds and dates until semi chopped up. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until it forms a crumbly but slightly sticky mixture. Roll the mixture into balls and store in the fridge in a airtight container. They will last about 1 week in the fridge. 🙂
I’ve also got a recipe for lemon merienge pie (lemon and coconut) bliss balls, and it also has a sugar free version that doesn’t have any dates or artificial sugars in it!! I’ll put those up possibly tomorrow!
Have fun and try not to eat them all in 1 day like I did. Nuts and dates are good for you, right? 😛
